Fachkräfteallianz - Agreement

The "Fachkräfeallianz Baden-Württemberg" (Skilled Workers Alliance Baden-Württemberg) has set new targets on October 10, 2016, which will be controlled from 2017. Under this agreement, the Alliance is committed to reducing the shortage of skilled workers in certain professions and to cushioning the impact of demographic change on the labour market. HVHS

In Lower Saxony there are 23 recognized "Heimvolkshochschulen" (Home Folk High Schools), short HVHS. Not all bear the traditional designation "VHS" in their name. Some call themselves educational center, other educational institution, seminar house or academy. Learning free from the obligations and the routine of everyday life - that is the common idea. The students are welcomed as overnight guests and have the opportunity to exchange ideas outside the courses. This allows a special concentration and intensity. This intensity of educational work distinguishes home folk high schools. (Type: Association / Level: Regional Level / Language: German)
