Landesfamilienrad - Policy for families

In the view of the "Landesfamilienrad" (Provincial Family Council Baden-Württemberg), the "family" touches all policy areas, not only social and educational, but also the environment, economy and finance. Family policy has the task of contributing to the well-being of today's and future generations' lives. The Provincial Family Council is committed to ensuring that the responsibility for the success of a family is also perceived socially and politically. Landesnetzwerk Weiterbildungsberatung

The education training market in Baden-Württemberg is characterized by a large number of providers. In order to make further education advice more transparent for all citizens, the "Landesnetzwerk Weiterbildungsberatung" (Regional Advice Network for Further Education) was founded. As part of the "Bündnis für Lebenslanges Lernen" (Alliance for Lifelong Learning), an expert group consisting of representatives from all areas of continuing education consultancy was formed to work out the concept of the LN WBB. With success: Since 2015, all interested parties near their place of residence can receive individual and independent further education advice free of charge from 150 member institutions of the LN WBB. Landesverband der VHSen Niedersachsens e.V.

The "Landesverband der Volkshochschulen Niedersachsens e.V." (National Association of Adult Education Centers Niedersachsen e. V.) is an umbrella organization that brings together 57 Lower-Saxony adult education centers. The National Association of Adult Education Centers Niedersachsen e.V. is recognized as a non-profit association and has its headquarters in Hannover. The National Association of Adult Education Centers of Lower Saxony e.V. is also a member of the German Adult Education Association e.V. (DVV), in the Lower Saxony Federation for Adult Education e.V. (nbeb) and in the educational association "WORK and LIFE". In addition, the association works with many other recognized institutions and organizations. Latvian Adult Education Association (LAEA)

Latvian Adult Education Association (in Latvian – Latvijas Pieaugušo izglītības apvienība), LAEA, is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation, which unites adult education providers in Latvia – both individuals and organisations. LAEA was founded on December 14, 1993. The aim of LAEA – to promote the development of non- formal adult education systems and to participate in life-long learning policy-making, thereby promoting the development of a civic, democratic and open society in Latvia. Since its establishment, LAEA has gained valuable experience in organising various activities on local and national levels. LAEA has created a co-operation network of adult education providers from all towns and districts of Latvia, prepared trainers, elaborated and approved training programmes, training and methodological materials. LAEA has been a member organisation of the European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) since 1995, joining the European Prison Education Association and European Adult Education Research Association (ESREA) in 1997. LAEA is a member of Latvian Platform of Development Education and Civic Alliance- Latvia.
 


Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI)

Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) is the biggest association of entrepreneurs in Latvia uniting more than 2500 members – micro, small, medium and large enterprises of all regions and industries, associations, city business clubs and other unions of entrepreneurs. Association represents interests of entrepreneurs, as well as provides services, so that Latvia has excellent enterprises in an excellent business environment. Main sectors of its activities are business environment, competitiveness of enterprises, export. Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is founded on 21 December 1934 and is a member of the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry (EUROCHAMBRES) and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). Its mission is: Voice and support of Latvian entrepreneurs since 1934. LCCI services ensures that membership in the LCCI is an economically favourable decision for its members encouraging more rapid growth of the enterprise. LCCI supports business environment in Latvia, for growth of many competitive and able-to-export enterprises. LCCI is intensively implementing national and international projects.
 


Migrant Skills

"Migrant Skills" is a multilingual EU Skills Profile Tool for Third Country Nationals and is intended for use by organizations offering assistance to Third Country Nationals. It helps to map the skills, qualifications and work experiences of the third country nationals and to give them personalized advice on further steps, e.g. a referral to recognition of diplomas, skills validation, further training or employment support services. Nordic Baltic Network of National Adult Education Associations

The network meets 1-2 times a year for mutual exchange of information and coordination of common activities. Members are: Danish Adult Education Association (DAEA); Dansk Folkeoplysnings Samråd (DFS,); Estonian Non-formal Adult Education Association (ENAEA); Finnish Adult Education Association (VSY); Iceland Educate; Latvian Adult Education Association (LAEA); Lithuanian Association of Adult Education (LAAE); Norwegian Association for Adult Education (NAAE) Voksenoplæringsforbundet (VoFo); Swedish Adult Education Association –Folkbildningsförbundet. DAEA is participating in European cooperation projects and networks funded by the EU's Grundtvig Programme supporting development of non-formal adult education.
